Flooring Materials: What We Install and When

Choosing the right flooring means matching material properties to room use, moisture exposure, and your maintenance preferences.

COREtec Plus LVP
Used for: Most rooms, kitchens, basements

100% waterproof, scratch-resistant, comfortable underfoot. Best value for most Bay Area homes. Cork underlayer reduces sound.

Mirage Engineered Hardwood
Used for: Living rooms, bedrooms

Real wood veneer over engineered core. More stable than solid hardwood in California's humidity fluctuations.

Porcelain tile (12x24)
Used for: Bathrooms, entry, outdoor

Durable, low-maintenance, available in wood and stone looks. Requires proper substrate and grout sealing.

Schluter DITRA
Used for: Under tile

Uncoupling membrane that absorbs substrate movement. Prevents tile cracking on concrete and wood subfloors.

We explain every material choice in our proposals. You know what's going into your home and why before any work starts.
