Every contractor says they do quality work. So instead of adjectives, here is what we actually do and how you can check it. We are a licensed California general contractor, and bathrooms and kitchens are our main work.
Licensed, and easy to verify
IronNest Construction holds California contractor license CSLB #1130134. You can look it up yourself on the Contractors State License Board website at cslb.ca.gov. The record shows the licence status, the bond and workers’ compensation. We would rather you check than take our word for it.
A written, fixed price, not a range
Our website gives cost ranges because every house is different. After a site visit, you get a written fixed price with the scope spelled out line by line. If something unexpected turns up once walls are open (it happens, especially in bathrooms), we show you and put the change in writing before any extra work is done. You approve it first.
We fix what is behind the wall, not just the surface
In the walk-in shower project above, the tile looked tired but intact. Behind it, the studs had rotted from years of slow leaks. Tiling over that would have been faster and cheaper to quote, and it would have failed. We showed the homeowner, repaired the framing, then built a new waterproofed walk-in shower.
Permits handled
We pull the permits, schedule the inspections and meet the inspector. Permitted work protects you when you sell, when you make an insurance claim, and every day you use the room.
Our own crews, and a schedule in writing
Our own crews do the work on our jobs. Your proposal includes a written schedule with dated milestones. If anything moves, we tell you the same week, not on the day.
Everything in one place: the client portal
Every client can open their project page to see quotes, invoices and project dates. There is no password to forget: we email a one-time code to the address on file. Payments go through our billing system, never through the website.
Reviews you can read in full
We are rated 5.0 on Google and 5.0 on Yelp. We keep each platform separate and never blend them into one number. Every review on our reviews page is published exactly as the customer wrote it. Read them, then call one of us and ask anything.

We reply to every enquiry within 3–6 business hours, Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM. Our office is at 2180 Harvard St, Suite 147, Sacramento. We serve the Sacramento area and the San Francisco Bay Area. If a remodel is not what your home needs yet, we will say so.
